PLAYER BENEFITS
Age:
U11/U13 (9-13 years old)
This Spring Program is specifically designed for Defensemen who want to take their game to the next level. The program will focus on improving and teaching superior defensemen specific skills as they relate to the game of hockey, both defensively and offensively.
High Instructor to Player Ratio (1:7)
Program Description
- Shooting from the point
- Breakouts and puck movement
- Playing way from the puck in all zones
- Defending the rush
- Defensive zone coverage
- Gap control
Program Coordinators
Our Program Coordinators are experienced CIHL, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Junior Hockey players interning in Hong Kong, all who have extensive coaching experience.
Program Prerequisites
- Minimum of 3 years of hockey experience
Program Aim
- Identify and stregthen weak areas
- Grow and develop defenseman skills
- Have fun and developed passion for hockey

Program Includes:
Five hours of on-ice training time per player

More Hockey, More Fun!
- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.
Fee: HKD 3,988
- Program limited to 12 players
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens March 8, 2023
SPECIAL NOTE:
Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.
Skills
The Defensemen Spring Program focuses on all the core concepts of the defenseman position. Fun drills and plenty of personalized coaching to ensure players develop a strong foundation.

- We are unable to offer a refund or credit due to non-participation.
- Registration is first come, first served, with priority given to current Junior Tigers participants.
- Registration officially opens March 8, 2023.
