U9 (7 - 9 years old)
Goaltenders of older ages and abilities are welcome to train in our CIHL Top Shelf Goalie Training program.

High Instructor to Player Ratio (1:4)

Program Description
- Elite program for top U9 goalies
- Same coaches throughout the season for consistency
- Fun environment to develop hockey skills

Program Coordinators
Our Program Coordinators are experienced CIHL, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Junior Hockey players interning in Hong Kong, all who have extensive coaching experience.

Program Prerequisites
- Minimum 1-2 years of goalie experience
To protect the competitive nature of this program, all registrations are subject to review. Please read the program prerequisites and contact Junior Tigers staff if any questions.

Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator or player will be designated for this program and will be available to assist throughout the season.

Program Aim
- Improve goalie foundation skills
- Introduce advanced skills, including puck tracking and awareness, rebound control, passing
- Have fun and a develop passion for ice hockey & the position

Hours of Instruction
3 hours of on-ice training time per player.

Includes end of season report card

All forty five (45) minute sessions exclude ice cleaning time. One hour or longer sessions may include ice cleaning time depending on the ice conditions.

Each player will receive a complimentary Junior Tigers water bottle

- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

Goalie training is a position-specific program for young goaltenders.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.

Fee: HKD 2,488
- Program limited to 4 goaltenders
- Includes complimentary Island League and/or other program participation
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens October 27, 2023

By registering for a Junior Tigers program, you agree to accept Junior Tigers terms and conditions.

- We are unable to offer a refund or credit due to non-participation.
- Registration is first come, first served, with priority given to current Junior Tigers participants.
- Programs will not run during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods.
