PLAYER BENEFITS

Age:
U13 (10-13 years old)
The Accelerator Program is designed specifically around improving your skating, and puck control. The program will allow players to work on improving their shot and stickhandling skills while working on the edge work and explosiveness in the players skating. This program is designed specifically for competitive caliber players.

High Instructor to Player Ratio (1:7)

Program Description
- Coached by Director of Hockey Operations and Former NHL Player Rob Schremp
- Working on players skating, stickhandling, and shooting technique to improve their offensive abilities
- Teaching the importance of edge work, explosiveness, and shot technique to help a player become more dangerous in a shooting position
- Showing the players proper stickhandling mechanics to help them increase their offensive skills
- Learning to increase shot accuracy and teaching the player explode to a shooting position
- LIMITED ENROLLMENT PROGRAM

Program Coordinators
Our Program Coordinators are experienced CIHL, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Junior Hockey players interning in Hong Kong, all who have extensive coaching experience.

Program Prerequisites
- Minimum 3 years of hockey experience
- Minimum 3 years of skating experience
To protect the competitive nature of this program, all registrations are subject to review. Please read the program prerequisites and contact Junior Tigers staff if any questions.

Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator will be designated for this program and will be available to assist throughout the season.

Class Aim
- In our Accelerator Program, we will introduce advanced skating stickhandling, and shooting concepts and techniques by incorporating them into drills designed to simulate game situations.

Hours of Instruction
Twenty nine hours of on-ice training time per player

Programs will not run during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods. However, programs will run on National Holiday Day - Oct 23 2023.
All forty five (45) minute sessions exclude ice cleaning time. One hour or longer sessions may include ice cleaning time depending on the ice conditions.

Each player will receive a complimentary Junior Tigers Water Bottle and participation certificate

- There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.

- Program limited to 8 players
- By invitation only
- Player must be registered in AGP, Top Shelf and RBC Lions programs
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens April 17, 2023
