PLAYER BENEFITS

Age:
U16 (14-16 years old)
The GBHL Prospects focuses on higher level skills required to play competitive hockey. The coaching team works with players to enhance these skills at an individual and team level, allowing players more opportunity to become more competitive and elite hockey players.

High Instructor to Player Ratio (1:7)

Program Description
- This program is for U16 players and will take place over five 1.5 hour sessions through out the season.
- The program will combine power skating and small area game play in an accelerated game play format to maximize on-ice development time.
- Coached by elite CIHL players
- Same coaches throughout the season for consistency
- Fun and competitive environment
- LIMITED ENROLLMENT PROGRAM

Program Coordinators
Our Program Coordinators are experienced CIHL, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Junior Hockey players interning in Hong Kong, all who have extensive coaching experience.

Program Prerequisites
- Registered for any team in the Greater Bay Hockey League OR
- Registered in Top Shelf Program OR
- Played competitive hockey overseas
- 5 years skating and hockey experience
To protect the competitive nature of this program, all registrations are subject to review. Please read the program prerequisites and contact Junior Tigers staff if any questions.

Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator will be designated for each program and be at the rink during games. Parent coordinators will assist Junior Tigers management with off-ice operations.

Program Aim
- Help players develop quick decisions in small areas
- Experience game scenario skills in a fast moving high tempo environment
- Focus on improving specific skills throughout the season
- Enhance passion for hockey

Program includes
Seven and a half hours of on-ice time per player

Format
- Small area situations and skill development
- Focus on specific skillsets in competitive environments
- Mini-games
- Limited stoppages of play
- These are skill based groups and Junior Tigers management reserve the right to move players between groups to accelerate development

- There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

Junior Tiger leagues focus on teamwork and team play, while continuing to develop players’ individual skills.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.

Fee: HKD 4,588
- Program limited to 24 players
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens May 13, 2022
