Camp Description
Stickhandling & Puck Control
- Master the Puck: This camp is designed to elevate your stickhandling and puck control skills to the next level.
- Small Group Lessons: Benefit from small group sessions, ensuring personalized attention and individual correction from our experienced coaches.
- Detailed Instruction: Receive consistent coaching on the finer details of stickhandling techniques, helping you develop a strong foundation.
- Repetition & Habit Formation: Engage in drills and exercises designed for repetition, turning those newly acquired skills into instinctive habits.
- Unlock New Abilities: Expand your arsenal of puck control moves, dekes, and techniques to outmaneuver opponents with confidence.
- Increase Confidence: Develop the confidence to handle the puck in any game situation.
Camp Coordinators
We're thrilled to announce the return of retired NHL player Josef Marha as lead instructor for our first Master Series Development Camp of the season!
Born in Czechia, Josef was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the Quebec Nordiques. He played 159 games in the NHL with Colorado, Anaheim, and Chicago. His illustrious career spanned 22 professional seasons, during which he amassed countless awards and accolades, including:
- A Calder Cup championship
- 5 NLA championships
- 4 Spengler Cups (including a Spengler Cup MVP award)
- Two AHL All-Star selections
- Induction into the Swiss Hockey Hall of Fame
His jersey hangs from the rafters in Davos, where he is considered one of the greatest players ever to play for that storied franchise.
Josef will be assisted on the ice by our senior coaches, ensuring a top-tier learning experience for all participants.
Camp Prerequisites
- Minimum 3 years of hockey experience
- Minimum 3 years of skating experience
Priority will be given to U11 RBC Lions Team players and/or U11 Island League players.
Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator will be designated for each program and be at the rink during games. Parent coordinators will assist Junior Tigers management with off-ice operations.

- Become a Puck Possession Pro: Develop exceptional stickhandling and puck control skills that will allow you to dominate the game.
- Confident Creativity: Gain the confidence and creativity to make plays under pressure and deceive opponents effortlessly.
- Enhanced Hockey IQ: Improve your on-ice awareness and decision-making abilities to utilize your puck skills effectively in game situations.
- Maximize Your Potential: Refine your overall puck-handling abilities to become a more dynamic and impactful player.

One Hour 30-minute on-ice training sessions per player

- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

The Skills training Semi Private Program provides high-level individual skill development.

Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.

- We are unable to offer a refund or credit due to non-participation.
- Registration is first come, first served, with priority given to current Junior Tigers participants.
- Programs will not run during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods.
- Registration officially opens May 1, 2024.
