Why Learn to Play?
It’s critical that hockey players learn all the many different elements of the game and the Learn to Play program provides a structured, comprehensive and fun way to acquire these skills. Learn to Play is focused on skills and gives players the opportunity to learn and practice a skill before putting it into action in a league or tournament situation.
Learn to Play is a core program for all young players and we are committed to ensuring players learn the fundamentals and good hockey habits from a young age. We promote a positive and inclusive learning environment and our coaches are passionate about ensuring that young hockey players start off on the right “skate” so that they can achieve their hockey goals.
To further tailor the Learn to Play program to different players, we offer both a recreational and competitive stream.

Our international team of instructors have a wealth of coaching and playing experience at an elite level. The Junior Tigers coaches have a passion not only for hockey, but for passing on the gifts of the game to the next generation.
About Junior Tigers
The Hong Kong Junior Tigers were founded in 2015 and provides a range of programs to develop youth hockey players of all levels. The not-for-profit club prides itself on transparent fees, a high coach-to-player ratio and providing players with a fun and competitive environment to train and play. The Tigers’ motto is “more hockey, more fun”. The club now includes more than 200 players aged 4-14 and everyone is welcome to join!
