Tournament Description
The GBHL Mini 3's Tournament is a competitive and fun new tournament style.
Players can enter individually or with a friend and there will be three separate events this year. The GBHL Mini 3's Tournament will have exciting 3-on-3 gameplay with two twelve-minute periods and if needed... a shootout. Travel and BBQ is included and registration is first come, first served only!
Age:
U9 - U13
- U9 - Born 2014-15
- U11 - Born 2012-13
- U13 - Born 2010-11
The age group is flexible depending on the skill level of the participant.
Players are required to play in their own age group unless authorized by the Tournament Director. Please enquire directly regarding opportunities to play up a division.
Draft Format
- Players can enter individually or with a friend
- Players can also enter as a team but subject to changes to ensure fairness
- Deadline to register is October 21, 2023
- Registration is first come, first served only
- Limited enrollment
Structure
- U9, U11, U13 Divisions
- 4 teams for each age division
- 6 players per team plus goalie
- 5 games per date
- Three separate events
- BBQ for all players
- Travel included
- Tournament Style - Mini-games
- Game times – 2:00-7:00pm
Game Format
- Non-contact
- 3 on 3 play
- 2 X 12 mins periods
- Penalties will be a Penalty Shot
- Last minute of play is stopped time if tied or within 1 goal
- No overtime in the round robin stage
- Playoffs – a 3-minute overtime if needed
- Shootout is needed if still tied
- Team Standings based on – Most points, most wins, head-to-head, least goals against, least penalty minutes, greater goal difference followed by a puck toss

The GBHL Mini 3's Tournament is organized by Powerplay Sports & Entertainment. They reserve the right to change the tournament format if the minimum number of teams are not met. All tournament decisions are final.
Fee: HKD 2,988 Per Date or HKD 8,988 For All Three Dates
- Round trip transportation from Elements is included
- BBQ is included
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens September 20, 2022
- For all three event date registrations pricing includes complimentary Junior Tiger track jacket and hat
