LEAGUE OVERVIEW
PLAYER BENEFITS

Age:
U11 (9-11 years old - 2014, 2015)
A league for Junior Tigers players to develop both team and individual skills through game play in a fun environment.

High Instructor to Player Ratio (1:7)

League Description
- Players of different abilities welcomed
- Same coach throughout the season for consistency
- Fun environment for players to learn the game and grow their skills
- Equal playing time for all players

Program Coordinators
Our Program Coordinators are experienced CIHL, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Junior Hockey players interning in Hong Kong, all who have extensive coaching experience.

League Prerequisites
- Minimum 2 years of hockey experience
- Minimum 2 years of skating experience

Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator will be designated for each program and be at the rink during games. Parent coordinators will assist Junior Tigers management with off-ice operations.

League Aim
- Accelerate the development of hockey skills and game play
- Introduce game tactics (forechecking, defensive zones, special teams)
- Have fun and develop a passion for hockey

League Includes
- 7 games

Format
- Maximum number of participants per team — 12 players, 1 goalie
- These are skill based teams and Junior Tigers management reserves the right to move players between teams to ensure fairness
- There will be opportunities for players to participate in 2 games per week (dependent on individual team attendance)

Structure
- Competitive 4 to 6 team league (5-on-5 playing format)
- 3 minute warm up
- 3 x 15 minute running time
- 3 x 3 overtime - 3 minutes
- One game per evening per team based on the game schedule - Tuesday nights

Each player will receive a complimentary Junior Tigers Water Bottle

- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

Skills
Junior Tiger leagues focus on teamwork and team play, while continuing to develop players’ individual skills.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.

Fee: HKD 4,988
- Maximum number of participants per team — 13 players, 1 goalie
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens January 1, 2025
PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By registering for a Junior Tigers program, you agree to accept Junior Tigers terms and conditions.
- Payments can only be made online at www.juniortigershockey.com/registration
- We are unable to offer a refund or credit due to non-participation.
- Registration is first come, first served, with priority given to current Junior Tigers participants.
- Programs will not run during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods.
- Registration officially opens January 1, 2025.

All of our hockey programs require full equipment to be provided by the parent/guardian.
