Program Description
Off-Ice Development
Train like a pro with drills that improve:
- Proprioception and agility
- Strength and conditioning
- Core stability
- Balance and coordination
Video Analysis (Collective & Individual)
Learn the game faster through structured video breakdowns designed to correct habits and improve decision-making.
Focus areas include:
- Player positioning and spacing
- Reading and anticipating plays
- Analyzing real game situations (scoring chances, shot selection, movement patterns)
- Individual correction points and team concepts
Visual learning is a crucial part of player development. By studying real game footage, players better understand why decisions are made, where they should be positioned, and how to adjust their play more effectively on the ice.

Program Coordinators & Coaches
Our club boasts the largest number of full-time, senior, and highly experienced youth coaches in Hong Kong. Many have played professional hockey internationally, with backgrounds in the CIHL, NCAA, Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), and top-tier Junior Hockey programs.
Program Prerequisites
For U16 Greater Bay Lions only

Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator will be designated for each program and be at the rink during games. Parent coordinators will assist Junior Tigers management with off-ice operations.
Program Aim
- Develop well-rounded players through structured off-ice training and video analysis
- Improve athletic performance by focusing on strength, balance, core stability, and proprioception
- Use collective and individual video review to correct habits, positioning, and decision-making
- Accelerate learning through visual analysis of real game situations
- Build strong training habits that translate directly to on-ice performance
Program Includes
Seven, 45-minute sessions of video analysis and/or off-ice training, with weekly adjustments based on development needs.

- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

The Off-Ice Development & Video Analysis Program focuses on improving athletic performance and hockey IQ through structured training and visual learning.
- Off-Ice Athletic Development:
- Improve strength, conditioning, and movement efficiency to support on-ice performance
- Core Stability & Balance:
- Develop body control, balance, and stability for better positioning and movement
- Proprioception & Agility:
- Enhance coordination, reaction time, and spatial awareness
- Video Analysis – Positioning:
- Learn correct positioning and spacing through collective and individual video review
- Video Analysis – Game Reading:
- Improve play recognition, anticipation, and decision-making using real game situations
- Habit Correction & Awareness:
- Identify and correct technical and tactical habits through visual feedback
SPECIAL NOTE:
Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.
Early Bird Fee: HKD 1,789
- Program limited to 12 players
- Greater Bay Lions players have priority
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens January 15, 2026
- Early Bird period open until February 15, 2026
- Regular Fee: HKD 1,988 on February 16, 2026

By registering for a Junior Tigers program, you agree to accept Junior Tigers terms and conditions.
- Payments can only be made online at www.juniortigershockey.com/registration
- We are unable to offer a refund or credit due to non-participation.
- Registration is first come, first served, with priority given to current Junior Tigers participants.
- Programs will not run during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods.
- Registration officially opens January 15, 2026.

This program does not require full hockey equipment; however, the following items are mandatory and must be provided by the parent or guardian.
- Running shoes
- Proper off-ice outfit
