Age:
U9/U11 (Players born 2015-2016-2017-2018)
Goaltenders of older ages and abilities are welcome to train in our Top Shelf Training program.

Program Description
U9/U11 Top Shelf Goalie Training is designed to build a strong foundation for developing goalies. This weekly session focuses on sharpening key fundamentals, including edge work, crease movement, positioning, and proper save technique. Goalies will improve their balance, foot speed, and overall skating mechanics while learning to track the puck, control rebounds, and stay square to the play. With age-appropriate drills and consistent instruction, goalies will gain the confidence and discipline needed to take their game to the next level.
Program Coordinators
Our program coordinators are accomplished professionals with firsthand experience in elite European hockey leagues. As former pro players, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to coaching. With their extensive playing backgrounds and coaching acumen, they are dedicated to providing top-notch guidance and support to our participants in Hong Kong.
Program Prerequisites
- Minimum 2 years of goalie experience
To protect the competitive nature of this program, all registrations are subject to review. Please read the program prerequisites and contact Junior Tigers staff with any questions.
Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator will be designated for this program and will be available to assist throughout the season.
Program Aim
- Improve goalie foundation skills
- Introduce advanced skills, including puck tracking and awareness, rebound control, passing
- Have fun and a develop passion for ice hockey & the position
Hours of Instruction
Twenty-four, 55 minute on-ice training sessions per player.

- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on a participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

Goalie training is a position-specific program for young goaltenders.

SPECIAL NOTE:
The Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to the above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.
Early Bird Fee: HKD 15,888
- Program limited to 6 players
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens May 1, 2025
- Early Bird period open until June 15, 2025
- Regular Fee: HKD 16,888 after June 16, 2025
PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By registering for a Junior Tigers program, you agree to accept Junior Tigers terms and conditions.
- Payments can only be made online at www.juniortigershockey.com/registration
- We are unable to offer a refund or credit due to non-participation.
- Registration is first come, first served, with priority given to current Junior Tigers participants.
- Programs will not run during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods.
- Registration officially opens May 1, 2025.

All of our hockey programs require full equipment to be provided by the parent/guardian.
